Holiday Homework
1. Write entries to your journal every day or at least 5 days a week.
What to write?
a. Reflect what happen to you on that day.
b. Refer to the Journal topics given.
c. Copy newspaper article / reference books
d. Find idioms & their meaning/ proverbs/ phrasal verbs
“Practice makes perfect”
2. Literature
a. Form 3 poems – Leisure & A fighter’s lines
Try to surf the internet and find youtube movies of the poem.
b. Novel – The Railway Children.
i. Read the novel and write a synopsis of every character.
ii. Make a list of the characters in the novel. Analyse each character and describe all the moral values learnt from that character. Give evidence from the novel.
