The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence.." (Bukhari)
Death in Sujood on Her Wedding Night
The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence.." (Bukhari)
True strory told by Shaykh “Abdul Mohsen al Ahmad”, it happened in Abha (the capital of Asir province in Saudi Arabia)“After performing Salat Al Maghrib, she put her make-up, wore her beautiful white dress preparing herself for her wedding party, Then she heard the Adhan of ‘Ishaa and she realized that she broke her Wudu
she told her mother : “mother, I have to go to make wudu and pray ‘Ishaa”
Her mother was shocked : “Are you crazy?!! Guests are waiting for you, to see you! what about your make -up? It will be all washed away by water!!” then she added:
” I am your mother and I order you not to perform salah now! wallahi if you make wudu now, I will be angry at you”
Her daughter replied :”wallahi I won’t go out from here till I perform my salah! Mother you must know that “There is no obedience to any creature in disobedience to the Creator.”!!
Her mother said:”what would our guests say about you when you’ll show up in your wedding party without make-up?! You won’t be beautiful in their eyes! and They will make fun of you!”
The daughter asked with a smile :”Are you worried because I won’t be beautiful in the eyes of creations? What about my Creator?! I am worried because, if I miss my salah, I won’t be beautiful in His eyes”
She started to make wudu, and all her make-up was washed away, but she didn’t care
Then she began her salah and at the moment she bowed down to make sujud, she didn’t realize that it will be her last one!
Yes! She died while in sujud! What a great ending for a Muslimah who insisted on obeying her Lord! Many people who heard her story were so touched!!
She put Him and His obedience first in her priorities, so He granted her the best ending that any Muslim would have!
She wanted to be closer to Him, so He took her soul in the place where Muslim are the closest to Him! Subhana Allah!
She didn’t care if she would be beautiful in the eyes of creatures so she was beautiful in the eyes of Her Creator!
O Muslim sister, imagine if you are in her place! What will you do? What will you choose : pleasing creations or your Creator?
O dear sister! Do you guarantee that you will live for the next minutes? Hours? Months?!!
No one knows when their hour will come? Or when will they meet angels of death? So are you ready for that moment?
O non hijab sister! What do you choose : Pleasing yourself by not wearing Hijab or pleasing your Lord by wearing hijab?
Are you ready to meet Him without Hijab?
And what about you, sister who are “in relationship” or “open relationship”, are you ready to meet your Lord today? Tomorrow?! What do you choose pleasures of this Dunya or pleasures of akhirah?!
May Allah guide us all to what pleases Him and grant everyone who is reading these lines good ending, Ameen.

Seni berumahtangga....

Fixing a Blackberry on my own and saving RM75 charged earlier ...
I went to a shop yesterday to fix my BB which had no ringing volume.
The man at the phone shop when asked about the cost of repairing the
BB told me it would be RM75. I then said to him..."mahalnya", and he
said " kalau nak murah , repair sendiri ya..." He was being very rude. I
then went out and told my husband the cost of the repair. (
I didn't tell him about the problem before). What he did was he
switched the handset off and took out the battery and put it in again
and switched it on again and walla!! It worked! I got back all the
ringer tones and after putting the sound to normal again (I didn't
realize it was silenced), the BB was back to normal. ... Here, I have saved RM75
which was supposed to be the cost of repairing the BB.... What an
experience...

Holiday Homework
To all students out there, whether you are SMSTSP students or others,
It would really be a good thing if you could do a few things during this long end-of-year holiday.
That's all for now.. Have a happy holiday...!!!
It would really be a good thing if you could do a few things during this long end-of-year holiday.
1. Start writing a journal or diary - this would really help you improve your English. As we all know, our exam is at least 80% based on the written assessment, so we have to do something to prepare for it. As a saying goes , "Practice makes perfect", so definitely the best way to prepare for English assessment would be to practise writing.
You could also start a blog, which is quite easy actually. By creating a blog, you can have access to your ideas any time, any where etc... and write at your own sweet time.
2. The form 1,2 and form 4 students should start reading the novels that they are supposed to read next year. This would be a good start for next year since you will be very busy next year.
3. Plan your time, your activities and what you are going to do. Make sure you don't waste your time by waking up late in the morning, and sleeping at the wee hours every night.
That's all for now.. Have a happy holiday...!!!

Helping a friend?
Be careful when you "help" your friend, it may cause you your freedom....

To be proficient in English....
Nowadays , people are talking about the standard of English which is deteriorating even though we have been introduced with many strategies etc,.... A lot of things have been done, but ... it seems that students still have lots of grammar errors in their writing etc, etc..
Well, for me, actually , we have to go back to the basic... . Language is not something to be learnt.. It is something that you have to acquire yourself... Look for example a four year old girl.... If her mother speaks English with her, than definitely she is good in English.. meaning she can communicate using English..
Take another example, a sixteen year old girl .. a student who has learnt English for many years....7 +4 = 11 years... but do you think she can speak English well.... ??? I dont think so.... Why do you think that 16 year old girl cannot communicate using a language that she has learnt for many years...
The answer , for me, is very simple .... it's because the form four girl rarely uses English in her everyday life. She never speaks the language, rarely reads English books, sometimes write English Essays for her teacher but not because she wants to do it, but purely because she need to do it, or else....... you know what will happen...
From my own experience, I think i learn English by reading English novels. I really love reading. I've been reading since I could read .. When I was 7 years old actually... I remember reading my first Malay Novel, Azman Anak Yatim. After that I read a lot more books... BM of course.
When I got to secondary school, I got chances to read English novel. So I started reading English novels. Never had a day passed without me reading English novels. I remember the wardenMadam Salamiah and Madam Noriah, when making their rounds, after midnight, they would be calling out my name, ..... reminding me to sleep.. I really enjoyed reading..
Well during those days, we rarely watched movies, reading meant watching the movies but in our hearts and minds...So that is how I got to master English. and I think students nowadays should read more to be proficient in English.
So, what are you waiting for... Start reading, and writing ... and using English in your everyday communication.... I guarantee you will improve your English in no time....

Rawatan
(Hadis riwayat A'ishah r.anha)

Pizza Vouchers
Congratulations to all students who have participated in the Mag Inc 2011 Contest, ie STAR NIE contest... hope you enjoy your pizza treat.. I enjoyed mine.... Got 3 vouchers plus one (my daughter's) = 4 vouchers. The pizzas are quite delicious this time, more cheese....the way I like it, not like last time.
Next time, I think we can produce better magazine. What you should do is to get a topic, and then all four of you in that team should do research about the topic and then everybody should write something related to the topic. Plan the content first before researching for the points to include. For example, one person should write about the introduction to the topic, another person writes about the problem, the third person writes about the ways to solve it, giving details about the topic. The fourth member in the group should be the person who will design the magazine - find interesting pictures that are related to the topic; find quotes etc etc.... That's how you should organize and remember... Make it presentable... just like a real magazine, then I'm sure it would be easy for you to get at least the RM200 reward..

SYNOPSIS (OVERALL) - IN THE MIDST OF HARDSHIP by Latiff Mohidin
In this poem, the poet tells of the situation of a farmer and his wife who had come back at dawn after being out in the floodwater for the whole day and night. They had been looking for their son's albino buffalo. They love their son very much that they are willing to brave the horrendous or horrible flood just to search for the albino buffalo.

At dawn they returned home
their soaky clothes torn
and approached the stove
their limbs marked by scratches
their legs full of wounds
but on their brows
there was not a sign of despair.

He had such quiet eyes
He Had Such Quiet Eyes by Bibsy Soenharjo
He had such quiet eyes
She did not realise
They were two pools of lies
Layered with thinnest ice
To her, those quiet eyes
Were breathing desolate sighs
Imploring her to be nice
And to render him paradise
If only she’d been wise
And had listened to the advice
Never to compromise
With pleasure-seeking guys
She’d be free from ‘the hows and whys’
Now here’s a bit of advice
Be sure that nice really nice
Then you’ll never be losing at dice
Though you lose your heart once or twice

Comments as an interviewer
Yesterday I had a chance to interview students who would be going overseas... a trip to Vietnam. There are many comments that I can say as an interviewer.
What many interviewers would like to see in the interviewee is bravery. Candidates should be brave and confident with themselves. Their confidence must be shown in their attitude when they are interviewed. The first thing that an interviewer assess is whether the candidate can make an eye contact with the interviewer. I do not know why but some students are quite nervous or maybe it is their style not to make eye contact with the interviewer. They will be looking everywhere but not at the interviewers' face. Who are they talking to? Who are the listeners? When you present something , you want people to listen and understand what you are presenting , therefore you must look at the listeners' face to see whether they understood or not what you are saying. If they look confuse , you might want to elaborate further or justify your reasoning by giving other examples.
Your ability to speak fluently in English is a bonus but not necessarily the main criteria to get excellent result in an interview. This is because interviewers would also want to see that you have the ideas and are able to defend your statement or opinion. There are candidates who are not that good but they try their best to defend their ideas when their opinions are refuted.
In conclusion, the best way to succeed in an interview is to be confident in your presentation. Look at the interviewers' face - have eye contact with them. Give reasons, elaborate, defend your ideas. Being able to defend your statement by giving good reasoning is a bonus for you. Being proficient in English Language is definitely a ticket for you to achieve your goal. Make sure you have a wide vocabulary so that you do not have to take a long time to think of the right word to use. Writing a journal would be a good practice to enable you to get all the vocabulary you need to describe something - be it your experience, a thing, or giving opinion. Lastly, it is also a good thing to bring all your certificates with you so that the questions asked by the interviewer will be something related to what you have done to deserve the certificates.
All in all, good luck in your interview. Remember that you might fail in this interview, but there are other interviews in the future -- so be prepared for that too....
Do not be so frustrated , work harder, and succeed the next time... Happy fasting... and may Allah bless us all... insyaAllah... Amin.
